Management Team

Programeter is led by highly-qualified and experienced specialists both in research and practical application of software development life cycle metrics.

Mark Kofman, Programeter CEO

Mark Kofman

Founder, Chief Executive Officer

Mark Kofman is the co-founder and CEO of Programeter, which is his third start-up along with MOBi Solutions, a mobile government and marketing service provider, and devPulse, a semantic project notifications service. The idea of a metrics tracking kit was partly inspired by Mark’s professional background of working as a development lead in an offshore development center at StarSoft Development, where reporting on development metrics was part of his responsibilities. This experience emphasized the necessity of monitoring software development processes within distributed teams to favour and facilitate teamwork by increasing mutual confidence through transparency. Mark’s international experience of working in Estonia, Russia, Germany, Sweden and the consequent understanding of multicultural teams’ usages and common issues has also reflected in the concept of Programeter. Currently Mark is actively engaged in contribution to the online Encyclopedia of SDLC Metrics and to the blog on the metrics of software development life cycle and their successful application to software projects.
